It is absolutely necessary for you to have your own website when considering affiliate marketing as your professional career. Potential customers primarily go to websites in order to search and purchase items they are looking for. It is much easier to remember than a long affiliate name and account number that you may be using and you can just point your visitors to the affiliate page in your website after you have done some pre-selling. 2. Have your own ad. A lot of times affiliate companies have two or three versions of their advertisements, which are then splayed out on the internet by some multiple of a thousand! Using the same ad as everyone else could cause people pass your ad copy by. Prospects may pass over it because they've seen it before. If they didn't buy it before when they actually read the ad of someone else, why would they bother to read it now? So...make your ad at least look different. 3.
