You see this over and over on the Internet yet, what do you do if you do not have a list. he simple answer is you need to start building one anyway you can. 1. Put a sign-up form to your list on every webpage that you have. This may take a little work if you have a big website, but the benefit can pay off many times over.

The reason for that is if your site is mature every web page you have is probably indexed with the search engines and you never know where a visitor might be entering your site from. They do not always enter on your homepage.

2. Another simple thing you can do is make it very easy for a person to subscribe. All you really need is their first name and e-mail address. Unless you are targeting other types of information there really is no need to make it more difficult for a person to subscribe to your list.

3. If you are not currently publish a newsletter you may want to consider doing it. Even if you only publish monthly or quarterly it is a way for you to keep in contact with your list.

It becomes something that you can promote to get people to sign up. To increase the number sign ups come up with something unique that would make a person want to subscribe to your list.

4. Publish an e-book can include links to sign up to your newsletter in the book. Give the book away for free and various promotional methods including forum marketing, blogging, article marketing and so on.

Keep it short enough that a person would want to read it yet informational enough that there is value in it. People will want to tell others about it which will give you some viral marketing too.

5. Joint venture with other newsletter publishers and offer to promote each other's list. There are literally thousands of newsletter publishers that would not be competing with you yet offer similar information within the niche that you are in.

This is five ways to build your list that you may or may not be doing currently. Getting as many ways for people to find you as possible is the key to building a large list.
