There are many ways and means at your disposal to help you succeed online. Today I am going to talk about video marketing. Video marketing is a very powerful tool in your quest to succeed in any online based home business.

There are a few reasons why this is; number one is that people just love to watch video. Studies have shown that websites with video on them have more sticking power, in other words people stop on them longer. The use of video as a marketing tool is quite a new concept but just because it is new does not mean that it is not a proven technique.

Number two reason is video is viral in nature, by this I mean when you download your videos to a video downloading service it is built into the system that people can share your videos with anyone. This means just like a virus it can spread hence the term viral marketing. There are several video downloading services available and if used right will get your videos on the organic searches on Google. This is a huge advantage because people will put a search in for a given term and as long as you have put the right research into your keywords, then your video will appear on the organic searches. This very powerful indeed and it will get you so many free leads to your internet business.

Number three reason why using video to market your business is very powerful is that it is free. This is personally my favourite reason. All you have to do to start making videos is buy a cheap camcorder or webcam and just put yourself in front of it and be yourself. People will be drawn to you because of who you are and what you have to say. The people that are not drawn to you are people that are not right for your business.

This means that when the phone rings with potential customers they alreadyhave a good idea what you are all about which makes it easier to get them to join your company or buy your products. Only a few years ago it would have cost you a fortune to advertise yourself in this way but thanks to video websites and similar entities it is free to get your message across. So just go out and do it and watch your business grow.
