As anyone knows who has looked at the prices, good software costs a lot of money. Just look at Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft Office or Camtasia. Those are over $500 each. Most of the newbie internet marketers, and probably a lot of others, can’t afford those prices. The truth is, though, you need the applications for operating your internet business.

You can always look for earlier versions of the “expensive” software on Ebay or another option is to search the web for software programs that are totally free to download and use completely free for your internet business.

Here are 6 “must have” programs for the internet marketer…

1. AVG ANTI-VIRUS FREE EDITION (compare to NORTON). AVG offers anti-virus and anti-spam protection for your windows computer. It is an award winning program and can be downloaded for free.

2. CAMSTUDIO (compare to CAMTASIA) With CAMSTUDIO, you can record all the screen and audio on your computer and you can also create industry standard AVI video files.

3. OPEN OFFICE. (compare to Microsoft Office) This program is a leading open-source software for word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, databases, and more. It can be downloaded and, of course, can be used absolutely free of charge.

4. FILEZILLA (compare to WS-FTP) The FILZILLA client is a very fast and reliable cross platform FTP, FTPS and SFTP with lots of useful features and also an intuitive graphical interface.

5. NVU (compare to Dreamweaver) Pronounced N-View, it is a complete Web Authoring System that will combine web files management and the easy to use WYSIWYG, what you see is what you get, web page editing. It is designed to be very easy to use which works well for newbies and other non technical users who want to create professional looking web sites with no HTML knowledge needed. (

6. PAINT NET (compare to Adobe Photoshop) Paint.net is a free photo editing and image software for windows computers. It features a wide variety of powerful and useful tools, with their active and growing community on line, they provide tutorials, plugins, and friendly help.
