There were lots of jobs and people seeking jobs had 'choice'. Today, things are different. Jobs are no longer easily available. This makes it difficult for the potential job seeker, who has to compete with many people for even general jobs. "

Mehnaz Doctor writes: "Women have often been quite active while giving suggestions and advices regarding work-life to others. But if they would introspect themselves and make use of their strengths and weaknesses, they would be on an altogether different level in their career. It is only when one knows oneself completely, that she can choose the job that would fit her characteristics. Women need to be analytical while picking up a job. Once she is aware of her merits, she will be able to convince herself of performing better at work. "

An accepted model for learning in the training world is the 4 step move from 'Unconscious Incompetence' passing through 'Conscious Incompetence' and 'Conscious Competence', ending at 'Unconscious Competence'. Usually this model is expressed as a progression upwards through the levels, like up a flight of steps. However in working as a trainer, in fact in any honest field of endeavour, I would suggest, if progress is indeed like a flight of steps it is at very least a spiral staircase.
Allow me to explain!"

There are those who land a job right away and those who struggle through the process of finding one for a long time. With many job seekers vying for only a few open positions, the truth is that 'luck' rarely has anything to do with it."
