It's clear that RSS and e-mail in fact need to be used together, as opposed to either one replacing the other.
While RSS might not be used by as many people as e-mail, you can be sure that those that do use it and subscribe to your feeds will get your content without fail. In addition, many already prefer to receive information via RSS instead of e-mail, making RSS an absolute must as a supplement to e-mail delivery."

Why don't you write a book?
Most people complain it takes too long. They are too busy. One professional coach said she was not a natural writer. An entrepreneur feared it wouldn't sell, or it would be too much effort. A professional speaker says she is so busy marketing herself, she doesn't know where to find the time to write."

If you own a home based business then generating web site traffic is probably the primary thing you spend your time worrying about. The reason this is such a concern for you is because online competition is stiff and it is a huge effort to get your web site noticed among the thousands of others. However, there are several tricks you can do to differentiate your web site and set it apart from others. One such thing is providing a newsletter to subscribers. "

How to Increase Your E-zine Subscriber List
Opt In
Out of respect to your mailing list, and the CAN-SPAM laws, only mail your ezine to those who have requested it, or opted-in. Even if you have compiled a list of contacts, prospects, and clients that is 2000 strong, you can’t just start entering them on your list. "

1. Choose A Topic.
You need to choose either a hot topic or a topic about which you are passionate. If you can find a topic which is both these things, you have a winning combination. Think about what people are talking about on forums and in ezine articles that you have read recently. Check with Google to find recent popular search topics. Your task will be easier if your article covers a subject people currently find interesting. If you are interested in the subject, this will show in your writing and enthusiasm can be infectious. "

Every now and then a subscriber will ask how I create my newsletter. Fortunately, this request is done in conjunction with a complement I humbly accept. So, I decided to dedicate an entire issue to the creation of an HTML (web page looking) ezine. This won’t serve as the only technical guide you will ever need to read to create stunning HTML newsletters but, I hope it will serve as a mid-level introduction to the ins and outs of this powerful tool."

Website promotion is certainly a main focus of all business owners and their respective Web sites; however it is not something that happens overnight. This is because once you have a new Web site it takes a bit of time before search engines upload your URL and it becomes part of search results. Also, while your Web page might be returned in the results of free search engines, it will still not relate to the amount of traffic you want. As a result, there is one particular way to increase traffic to your Web site that is inexpensive, and that is web site promotion through newsletters."
